LINCOLN STATION - Donelan's Supermarket
On February 2, a portion of the roof of Donelan's Supermarket in Lincoln
collapsed. Fortunately no one was inside at the time. The store is
currently closed. Please continue to support the other Mall businesses
during the repairs.
Update as of November 2011:
- RLF continues to negotiate with Donelan's
- RLF is also pursuing alternative businesses to lease the space as a
back up plan
Update as of September 2011:
- Repairs on the building complete
Update as of 8/15/11:
- Roof repairs commenced with expected completion by end of
August.
Update as of 7/12/2011:
- Donelan's filed complaint in Middlesex Superior court seeking to
terminate existing lease with RLF.
Update as of 5/25/11:
- Building permit issued
- Repairs to start in June
Update as of 4/7/11:
- The collapsed portions of the roof have been removed from above
by crane for safety reasons and to allow for salvage of undamaged
equipment.
- Structural engineers have been working to determine why the roof
collapsed and evaluating options to get the building back in
operation.
- A preferred option for the roof repair, consisting of a structural steel
replacement, has been agreed upon.
- Final plans and specifications for the roof repair are being prepared
and a construction schedule should be released soon.
- The other Mall businesses are open as usual.
